Learn how to dress up your everyday look for nighttime.It’s a busy world out there, and often we need to leave work ready for our evening out with colleagues, friends or that special someone. The following tips will help you take your daily professional look out on the town.
First, let’s fix the base. If you have skin imperfections, you will probably need to touch up your foundation. The best way to touch up foundation is with a foundation brush. Simply take your f
oundation brush and dab a little bit of foundation where it is necessary. Then use your fingers to blend ot. Set your foundation with a light layer of powder. Use a bronzer with shimmer and apply it to your cheekbones, then lightly across the forehead, tip of the nose and tip of the chin.For the eyes, the evening is the best time to try colors that are bolder, brighter and more fun. You want to think sexy. Adding a brighter or deeper color to the lid will give you a smokey evening look. If you normally use browns, try gold; if you like black, try silver; if you wear purple, try a brighter version than you normally wear. To really bring your eyes out, liquid eyeliner will provide that extra special touch.
You will want to add an extra coat of mascara, but follow these steps to prevent a clumpy mess. Use a metal eyelash comb and comb your eyelashes. Then use a battery-operated, heated eyelash curler (I love Japonesque’s). Never curl your lashes with a crimp lash curler once you have applied mascara. Next, apply a coat of lengthening and volumizing mascara.
For lips: gloss, gloss and more gloss. Simply line and fill in your lips with a natural-color lip liner and gloss your lips with a shimmery, very glossy lip gloss. You don’t want your lips to have a lot of color, since your eyes should be the dominant feature. Also, gloss is easily reapplied throughout the evening of fun, drinks and dancing.Now go out and enjoy yourself and know you are looking fabulous!
