It is also important to understand how to choose, use, and refine stencils to achieve the best effects. Eyebrow Stencils are used to create a perfect shape for your eyebrows. The eyebrow stencil works as an interesting template which gives shape to your eyebrows. Combing the hair through the template will shape the hair and brush it in the direction you want.

The stencil can be used by placing the stencil over the eyebrow hairs. After that use the brush end of the dual comb and use it on the hair back towards the end of the stencil.

Types of Eyebrow Stencils

Celebrity-Inspired

Stencils -
Celebrities use professional salon technicians to achieve the perfect look, and it is important to consider the celebrity’s hair color, face shape, and facial features to determine whether their eyebrow shape is suitable for you.

Plastic Stencils -
The stencils should be thin enough to be used comfortably, and they should be thoroughly cleaned before and after use.

Pre-WaxedStencils -
These are both eyebrow shapes and wax in one; after firmly applying the stencil, it can be used as a waxing strip to automatically remove hair. This may seem efficient, but it does run the risk of removing too many or too few hairs.

Printable Online Stencils -
Some beauty and makeup websites offer printable eyebrow stencils suitable for one-time use. One-use stencils are great for trying a new look before purchasing full stencil sets.

Stencil Sets: These stencils come in coordinating packages of 3-4 subtly different stencils.

Tips on Eyebrow Stencils

Choose the stencil that has as much of your natural brow hair inside the eyebrow cutout as possible

Before printing the stencils care should be taken not to adjust the size or proportions of stencil which will distort the desired look.

Eyebrow stencils can be purchased in a number of places.

Fine salons that supply cosmetics frequently offer stencils as well, along with department stores and drug stores that have beauty counters.

Online stores have a wide selection of brow stencils, as do cosmetology supply stores.

Applying Blush and Mascara

Applying Blush

Blush comes in cream, gel, stick, or liquid formulas (in which case it should be applied before face powder), as well as powder formula. Here, I'm going to assume you're using powder blush. A good-sized blush brush - not the dinky plastic one that comes with many powder blushes - is essential for creating a natural-looking result. Run the brush gently over the blush powder, then hold the brush at the apple of your cheek. Using small strokes, softly sweep the brush up the cheekbone, toward the hairline. For an especially realistic look, sweep a bit of blush across the top of the forehead, the chin, and the bridge of your nose.

Where does a natural blush come from? Blood vessels, which lie directly under the skin. When we're aroused, embarrassed, excited, or active, these blood vessels enlarge, allowing a greater amount of blood to flow to the skin. The result of this is visible as flushed cheeks.

Applying Mascara

Mascara is often applied after eye shadow, but it can be applied before in fact, I like to apply mascara before shadow simply because I always spatter mascara everywhere which can ruin a painted eye. Whichever you choose, if you curl lashes, it should be done before applying mascara. After you curl your lashes, you can make lashes look lusher, and help mascara to adhere better, if you lightly dust lashes with a bit of face powder. Next, close one eye and paint the upper side of the upper lashes. Then, open the eye and apply mascara to the inner side of the upper lashes. Yes, I know this sounds weird, but trust me?applying mascara to both sides of your upper lashes gives you an amazingly luxurious look.

Lower lashes are strictly optional. I know makeup artists that won't do them, saying it gives the eye a droopy, overly made-up look. Mascara is also especially prone to smudging when applied on the lower lashes. That said, if you like wearing mascara on your lower lashes, hold the wand vertically and apply a light coat to lashes. let all lashes dry for a minute or two, and then comb through them with a lash comb to unclump them and create a more realistic-looking finish. Clean up any errant bits of mascara with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of foundation, makeup remover, or moisturizer.

Don't set stuck in a rut. Every once in a while, experiment with your look by trying a new makeup product or playing with new ways to apply old favorites.

Perfect Makeup Tips About Lash Mascara

Replace mascara every three months. As mascara is a breeding ground for bacteria, most tube and wand mascaras have an antibacterial agent in them that lasts about 6 weeks. This will keep you safe for 2 - 3 months, but the longer you keep the mascara, the more you risk eye infection. If you notice the smell changes or the texture changes, throw it out. Most mascara comes in brown or black - brunettes are normally told to use black mascara, blondes are to use brown mascara. Find Hot Top 10 Mascaras

Find Hot Top 10 Mascaras

Make up brings out the best in every woman. Mascara makes eyelashes look longer, darker, fuller and thicker and conditions them too. It helps to open up eyes to a great extent. You can create a dewy, fresh look with makeup, or a bronzed, sophisticated look. It is available in neutral shades such as black, dark brown, and dark gray and it is also available in navy, blue, clear and a host of other fad colors.

Apply mascara at the lash base. Then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of your lashes. Not into the lash comb? Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand. Wipe wand on tissue, this eliminates blobs BEFORE you start.

The best way to use this kind of a curler is to get as close to the eyelash line as you can, crimp and count to five slowly. Move the curler out just slightly and crimp again, move with the angle of the eyelashes. Depending on the length of your lashes, do repeatedly until you have curled all the way out. Most people can do this 2-3 times.

According to some beauty experts, mascara tubes should be replaced every three months and pumping the mascara wand repeatedly into the tube dries out mascara more quickly. It usually has enough mascara to use already.

Hold a magnifying mirror slightly above your face and position the mascara wand vertically straight in front of you. Lightly stroke down the bottom lashes, moving from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. Wipe off any excess on a tissue.

Using a proper application technique when applying mascara is extremely important to achieve a finished look.

Every woman must select right dress according to the nature of body. Before choosing any dress, decide the type of body, as there are different height and weight and age. One should dress in free flowing clothes in a particular tone for getting a slim and long look. Try fabrics like georgette or chiffon for dresses. One must wear clothes according to size. Loose fit clothes do not give good look to anyone. One should wear fitted clothes to appear gorgeous. One must be alert about wearing accessories as these talks more than dress. Women should be certain about jeweler that suits one’s face.

Apply to the upper lashes of one eye from base to end repeatedly, building on the ends, until you've got the right look. Then recoat the wand and switch to the other eye. Do the bottom lashes last holding your wand in a vertical position.

When you apply mascara - always have a cotton bud handy. This way when it smudges above or below the eye, you can quickly and easily "erase" it before it dries.
Keep in mind that using less mascara on your lower lashes will enhance your eyes and save you time.

Use a lash primer or conditioner. Primers coat lashes and separate them before you apply mascara. It helps to lengthen and add volume to lashes, and acts as a base coat before curling to guard against breakage. It also moisturizes brittle lashes and helps mascara last longer.
The mucous membranes around the eye harbor all sorts of bacteria that can easily latch on to a mascara brush. If you come in contact with another person's germs, you could wind up with conjunctivitis or some other infection.

The key to applying masscara is to paint thickly at the eyelash roots and gradually thin as your appoach the tips. This way you can create stunning dramatic eyelashes which still look natural.
Mascara is used from the underneath by holding the wand horizontally alternate to the eyelid and the brush is rolled slowly in the upward stroke.

Always remove eye makeup at the end of the day.

Learning To Use the Intimidating Tool of Beauty - the Eyelash Curler

Everyone will enjoy your new fresh look, during evening or daytime-- You will look fabulous.,How to Employ an Eyelash Curler,Keeping Clean....

Learning To Use the Intimidating Tool of Beauty - the Eyelash Curler

People go to more and more desperate lengths to be beautiful. After all, “beauty is pain”! From eyeliner to lip gloss, there is no characteristic of your face that cannot be enhanced by some form of make-up or beauty procedure. The tools used to enhance your beauty can be a bit daunting like the eyelash curler .

Many people are scared to use eyelash curlers; they fear that sticking the metal tool near their eyes will hurt their eyes. But you shouldn't let this beauty tool intimidate you—if you know how to properly use eyelash curlers; they can be very worth while beauty utensils. There is a certain technique to curling your eyelashes, but if you are able to master this technique you will have beautiful, luxurious eyelashes that everyone will look up to. Everyone will enjoy your new fresh look, during evening or daytime. You will look fabulous.

How to Employ an Eyelash Curler

To get going you had better make sure that your eyelashes are clean of other make-up, because curlers incline to work best on clean eyelashes. You had better use make-up remover to remove old mascara or other make-up. To have the best results, use a blow dryer to carefully heat the eyelash curler. Use low heat on your hair dryer for 5 seconds to heat the curlers . After heating, open the eyelash curler and place close to the root of your lashes . Hold the eyelash curler at your eyelashes for ten to thirty seconds. The longer you hold curlers, the more your eyelashes will curve. As you move up your lashes clamp and unclamp the curlers . Do the same for your other eye . If you desire, you could curve your lower eyelashes, but many people don't feel this is essential.

It is not recommended to pull or slide the curlers on your eyelashes, as this might result in pulling out your eyelash . Another thing you must not do is use the curlers after applying some makeup product on your eyes like mascara . The result is, that the lashes will stick to the eyelash curler as the mascara dries . Again, you could end up loosing your eyelashes from the roots .

Keeping Clean

As time has passed technology has progressed; many enhancements have been made to eyelash curlers . Now, eyelash curlers are made of more durable materials. Additionally, the pads are softer and gentler. The pads on eyelash curlers are often silicon treated to promote comfort. It is always good practice to change your pad every 2 months even if they do not look worn . If you use a dirty pad this could cause you an eye infection .

When used properly and kept clean eyelash curlers can aid in your quest for beauty.

How to Buy Eyebrow Tweezers

What you need to pluck your eyebrows:***Pay more for a better pair of eyebrow tweezers...Try tweezers with a comfort grip..Go for the slanted tweezers....Use all of these tips to get the best tweezers....

How to Buy Eyebrow Tweezers

Although there are plenty of methods to eyebrow hair removal, some are better than others. While waxing and threading can do a great job of producing a clean look, they are better left up to the professionals.

For those that would rather take eyebrow grooming into their own hands, your best bet is to tweeze. Tweezing is the classic method of removing eyebrow hair yourself. It can also be called eyebrow plucking.

What you need to pluck your eyebrows:

1. Good lighting, preferably natural sunlight.

2. A nice magnifying mirror.

3. An eyebrow brush or comb.

4. Great tweezers.

Even if you have the first three items on the list, everything hinges on the tweezers. If your pair doesn't work well, then you won't have a good experience. When you're ready to buy some new tweezers, it's important to keep a few things in mind.

Pay more for a better pair of eyebrow tweezers.

In most cases, you can get away with buying something at a cheaper price. There won't be too much degradation in quality. That's not the case with eyebrow tweezers, though. Inexpensive tweezers are usually not good enough and not worth the discount.

Instead, try for tweezers between $10 and $20. Eyebrow tweezers in this price range tend to be of high quality while still saving you money. Anything less than this won't do a good enough job in eyebrow hair removal.

Try tweezers with a comfort grip.

Tweezing those tiny eyebrow hairs can put a lot of strain on your hands. You can combat that by purchasing tweezers that have a comfort grip. You'll avoid any strain or pain. You'll likely have more control over the eyebrow hairs you remove as well.

Luckily, tweezers with comfort grips don't tend to be much more expensive than the classic variety. This should put them right in your budget.

Go for the slanted tweezers.

There are many different kinds of tweezers for you to choose from. They go to sharp points, o have completely flat, horizontal tips. Although these varieties have their place, slanted tweezers are the best for standard eyebrow grooming.

As you become more advanced in eyebrow hair removal, you may want to try these other tweezer varieties. Super pointed tweezers are perfect for getting at ingrown hairs. They're also great for when you want super fine control over which hairs you pull. Flat-headed tweezers do a good job of pulling multiple hairs at once. Granted, you will lose some control with this variety.

Use all of these tips to get the best tweezers.

If you put in the extra bit of effort, you'll end up with great tweezers. Now that you have everything you need, you should be able to groom your eyebrows into the exact shape you're looking for.

After all, you can't get the perfect eyebrow shape if your tweezers can't even pull out the right hairs.

Causes & Solutions for Dark Circles under Eyes

Do you suffer from dark circles under eyes? What causes this? Why does it make you look so tired and worn out? The fact is that there are countless reasons that you may be facing circles. For many, it is a sign of not getting enough sleep. For others, allergies are behind it.

If you are new to this experience or they have come on all of a sudden, it pays to make a trip or call to the doctor as they can be a sign of other, more serious health concerns especially if they are coupled with other symptoms like sore throats or fevers. In most cases, though, the cause of dark circles around eyes is not that severe.

Some Causes To Consider

What's causing your dark circles? Here are a few examples of some conditions that are most commonly the culprits behind those dark under eye circles.

The Sun Hurts -
The sun's rays can be behind your dark circles. The area under your eyes may tan faster than the rest of your facial skin does. This makes for darker tones here.

Nutrition -
If you don't get enough deep colored vegetables in your diet, you could be facing a nutrition caused dark circle problem. To remedy this problem, eat more antioxidant rich foods, regularly.

Lack of Sleep -
If you tossed and turned last night (or the last two nights,) then the lack of sleep can bring on the dark circles under the eyes too. The more tired you are, the more the skin allows blood under your eyes to be noticeable. This makes you look more blue or darker in complexion under your eyes.

Hereditary -
Unfortunately, for some, it's all in the genes. If your mother had them, it is likely that you too will have dark circles under your eyes.

This is similar to having varicose veins. As the amount of blood increases to this area of your body, it may be more visible and allow your skin to look darker in color than the rest of your face.

How To Get Rid Of Them

There are a number of ways to get rid of dark eye circles.

Products -
On the market, you will find a number of products that can help including products like bleaching dark circles under eyes. Use these carefully.

Home Remedies -
You can also consider some home remedies for dark under eye circles, too. For example, applying a slice of a cucumber or raw potato to the area can be helpful.

Of course, rectifying the cause can also help.

Sleep -
Getting a full eight hours of sleep will help reduce the look of dark circles under eyes.

If you have dark circles under your eyes, learn what is causing them. Try to fix this problem, if possible to get relief. If not, there are many great products on the market that can help to make your dark circles around eyes go away or at least look better!

Make-up Tips - Perfect Eyebrows

Perfectly shaped eyebrows will enhance the look of your eyes, your face and will accentuate your makeup while un kept, unruly eyebrows will hide the beauty of your eyes.000

Make-up Tips - Perfect Eyebrows

Eyebrows are a natural frame for the eyes and should be in proportion to the face. Perfectly shaped eyebrows will enhance the look of your eyes, your face and will accentuate your makeup while un kept, unruly eyebrows will hide the beauty of your eyes.

Tips for Perfect Eyebrows

* Pluck only from the underside of the brow in the direction that the hair grows. Do not pluck from the top of the brow and chance plucking too much and losing the shape of the brow. You can also pluck any stray hairs between the brows. If you find it too painful apply a little lubricant prior to you pluck, preferably one that had a dulling effect like oral gel, or baby's teething gel.

* If you find your eyebrows are starting to thin utilise a brow color to fill them in feather strokes, don't draw on lines in place of eyebrows.

* Brows should be the equivalent color as your hair or even a shade lighter.

* Your brow should begin right above the inner corner of your eye. To determine where the eyebrow should begin place a pencil against the nostril and line it higher with the inner corner of your eye. Your eyebrow should end at a diagonal with the outer corner of your eye. To determine this, place a pencil at the side of your nose ending at the outer corner of your eye. The eyebrow should arch above the outer rim of the iris.

* Be careful when you tweeze and if you happen to be unsure go to a professional. Incorrect tweezing can ruin the look of your eyebrows and after a certain time the eyebrow will not expand back. If you do employ a professional, keep regular appointments and do not let your eyebrows get too unruly between appointments. Or even, after you are bound to get a professional do your eyebrows keep them in shape by plucking the stray hairs as they expand.

Make-up Tips - Eyeliner

Makeup Tips - EyelinerA tip when applying liquid eyeliner is to apply it as close as possible to the eyelashes, even running into the eyelashes....

Make-up Tips - Eyeliner

Have you always wondered what is the best way to apply eyeliner? Would you like some of the celebrites hints and tips on how to apply eyeliner so it looks fantastic everytime? Well read on for lots of hints and tips and soon you will be achieving these great effects yourself.

One stunning effect that can be achieved easily and a favorite of such well-known actresses from Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe to Gwyneth Paltrow, is rimming the eyes with a white eye pencil.

This has the effect of enlarging the white of the eye to create a seductive, alluring look.

To apply the eye pencil, pull your lid away from the eye very gently using one or two fingers and draw a line along the inner eye rims. Do the same with both the upper and lower lids. To make a sharpened pencil softer and easier to apply, you can draw a few lines first on the back of your hand. This will soften the tip and get the color flowing.

Kohl can be applied in the same way with sensational effect. The use of kohl goes back to ancient Egyptian times and is characteristic of eye makeup in the Middle and Far East. Apply your kohl pencil as described above to both the upper and lower rims, from corner to corner. Then, using either a sponge-tipped applicator, eyeshadow brush, or even your fingertip, blend the color by smudging it to create a smoky effect.

Once you are satisfied with the appearance, you will need to set it by using a light application of loose powder. For an even stronger, more intense effect, apply your preferred color around the eyes in either cream, liquid or powder form.

If you want to use liquid eyeliner, once you’ve mastered the technique of applying it, this can be a quick method of achieving a stunning and sophisticated look. But applying liquid eyeliner can take a little practice.

To begin, it’s best to be in front of a good magnifying mirror, so that your eyes are magnified sufficiently to see very clearly what you are about to do and ensure a smooth application of the liquid eyeliner. Then, using your free hand, start by pulling the eyelid taut. If you’re right-handed it’s probably easiest for you to start applying the liquid from left-to-right, as if you are writing, and vice versa if you are left-handed. Draw across in a single continuous fine line. If you want a thicker line then, at the end of the run, simply retrace.

A tip when applying liquid eyeliner is to apply it as close as possible to the eyelashes, even running into the eyelashes. This will avoid you getting that annoying white line effect between the lashes and the liner when the two don’t meet.

Applying liquid eyeliner does take some practice, so have a bottle of makeup remover to hand until you are confident in the technique. As they say: “practice makes perfect”, and with a little perseverance and a steady hand you’ll soon be achieving some great effects.

Lasik Vision Correction Will Improve Your Life

Lasik eye surgery has emerged, during recent years, as an incredible alternative to a life of contacts or glasses. While, at first Lasik vision correction was determined to have high patient qualifiers to meet, the growing technology and procedures have allowed for a changing of guidelines making it safe for people with many vision problems to successful receive close to perfect vision with Lasik vision correction.

Vision patients are often plagued with a variety of problems starting with the first eye exam diagnosis of a problem with their vision. For some this is at a relatively young age and for others as they grow older. For those young patients, many deal with a childhood of ridicule as they wear glasses, have problems in school and coordination.

They then move on to adulthood and try to work with contacts, often through trial and error, and go on to deal with the lifelong expense of eye exams, contacts, glasses, maintenance supplies and potential additional eye health problems as they grow older.

For older patients, they often have to try to acclimate to vision correction aids. This can make them feel as if they are re-learning everyday tasks, like driving, reading and even applying makeup, all to work around the hassle of contacts or glasses.

All of this combined can make a vision correction patient frustrated and depressed over their situation. When Lasik vision correction entered the picture, this all changed.

Best Eye Cream For Dark Circles,
Puffiness and Fine Line
s

One of the most common signs of ageing, lack of sleep, and stress is the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, and wrinkles. No-one wants to look old, especially if it means looking older than you actually are!

The good news is that there are treatments in the form of creams that we can use to improve the skin around our eyes and get rid of fine lines and dark puffy skin that make us look worn down. What I believe to be the best eye cream will be discussed a little later in this article. Firstly, let's talk about a couple of other methods that are sometimes recommended.

We often hear about well-balanced diets and healthy lifestyles, including eating well and drinking plenty of water, as the key to our well being. Although this of course helps our body overall, we want to target the eyes specifically. Obviously, lack of sleep can certainly affect the way our eyes look so the first thing is to get your 8 hours.

One method that you may well have heard of is using cool tea bags and cucumber slices, but how does it work? Well, the purpose of the cucumber is to reduce puffiness and refresh the skin, whilst the tannin from the cool tea bags aims to reduce the discoloration and swelling around the eyes. As you can imagine, this method does take a bit of preparation time, plus there are better alternatives such as using eye creams.

With the health and beauty industry being so large there are a number of creams that are available, but like anything else there are some good and some bad. Revitol is an excellent cream that freshens around the eyes, tones, and makes the skin supple. This results in reducing dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles to bring back that youthful look.

A lot of women will tend to use concealer to cover up their tired looking eyes, but of course this is only covering up the problem temporarily. However, the best eye cream, Revitol, effectively gets rid of the evident signs of ageing and lack of sleep.

Get rid of puffiness under eyes with our recommended best eye cream.

This is determined based on your overall eye health, vision corrective issues and overall health as some conditions, like diabetes, can affect your eligibility.

When considering the cost of LASIK eye surgery there are many factors to consider and questions to ask your eye surgeon. The cost of the procedure is based on the cost of supplies, staff salaries, the doctors' fee, the equipment and other costs.

Ask the eye surgeon you're considering, to be honest with you about the costs and pricing. Be wary if they are receiving a large bonus for each procedure from the LASIK equipment manufacturer, as this tends to turn doctors away from personal service and toward getting as many people through the procedure as possible for higher bonuses.

The cost of LASIK eye surgery is definitely a deciding factor when considering LASIK surgery but remember, cost goes hand in hand with quality of service and after care. Sometimes the cheapest price available could really be offering a terrible experience and potential vision problems down the road from an inexperienced eye surgeon. For more in-depth knowledge about the costs and pricing of LASIK eye surgery, contact your local ophthalmologists association or state medical board.

In 2006, a study was done that concluded that contact wearers are at a greater risk for infection than individuals who have had Lasik eye surgery. Don't shy away from the cost of Lasik, because in the past 10 years over 3 million people have experienced the benefits of Lasik with nearly perfect results. Would you like to be one of them? Do Eye Exercises Actually Work?

Do Eye Exercises Actually Work?

Perhaps you've heard that you should exercise your eyes so your eye muscles won't get weak. But is there any foundation behind these claims? What are eye exercises? Are there any benefits in performing them?

Eye exercises involve rotation of the eyeballs. Basic exercises include movements like looking all the way up, then all the way down, to the right and to the left. You are also advised to rotate your eyes clockwise and then counterclockwise.

On one hand it makes sense. These movements keep the muscles moving and cause them to stretch and contract. On the other hand these eye muscles are not designed to do all this stuff. Their primary function is to accommodate the shape of the eyeball.

The proponents of the eye exercises claim that you became nearsighted or farsighted because "you are not using your muscles", "your eye muscles became weak" and other similar reasons. In fact the opposite is true. You became nearsighted because a certain group of extraocular muscles became too tense and this tension became chronic. Chronic tension changed the shape of your eyeball, in case of myopia or nearsightedness your eyeball became elongated, in case of hyperopia or farsightedness the eyeball became too short. People with normal vision have a round eyeball.

Another reason to consider is that these eye muscles are much stronger than needed so all this talk about weak muscles is unfounded.

Your muscles became tensed on the verge of paralysis. So the thing to do, in order to relieve the anomaly of refraction that you have, is to relax or somehow alleviate this tension. This involves mental control that is very difficult to master but it is possible.

So while eye exercises will certainly do you no harm, there are no actual benefits in them either. It is much better to learn some relaxation techniques and correct visual habits. One of them is to turn your head in whatever direction you are looking rather than just turn your eyes only.

That said there is one exercise that does seem to have a positive effect on vision. It is near-far swing. Basically it involves looking at the far object and then at some close object. You can also look at anything in between. Do not strain while doing it and make sure you blink often and don't hold your breath. You should have glimpses of improved vision.

Eye Fashion - Seeing the World With New Eyes

The eyes are the windows to your soul so it basically makes sense to make sure that you give the world the best view possible. The eyes have always been a key point in fashion and why shouldn't it be? A person's clothes and outer appearance has the ability to attract attention but it's always the eyes that make you stare and want to get to know the person more.

With the eyes playing such an important part in one's beauty, it then makes sense that a lot of effort is being put into 'beautifying' your eyes.

Here are a few tips that you could use to give your eyes that extra glow.

Simple Tips That You Can Do At Home

Tired, droopy eyes are always a no-no and you can do something really simple to brighten your eyes. Don't be fooled by the usual cucumber trick - cucumbers have a soothing effect on eyes that does not really last. You can achieve the same effect, even better, by popping a spoon into the fridge for a couple of minutes. Then place the spoon on your eye, making sure that you do not press deeply. Eyes are sensitive and the skin around them is prone to wrinkles so make sure that you handle your eyes cautiously. For a minute or two, just relax and let the cool spoon soothe your tired eyes and - voila - perky, expressive eyes in an instant.

You could also look for eye mask with gels in them. The concept is basically the same, just place the mask inside the fridge and once it's cool enough, you can wear it and let it soothe tired, red eyes. This also helps you eliminate eye bags and those dark under eye circles. Of course, nothing beats sleep so make sure that you also get proper sleep.

Popular Eye Fashion

You don't have to settle with just boring eye shadows anymore. You can use a variety of things to basically 'dress up' your eyes. From wearing false eyelashes, having your eyebrows tattoed or wearing contact lenses, there are so many options that you can choose from.

False eyelashes are popular these days and have been made to suit your needs. You can wear something that looks as natural and believable as normal eyelashes or you could choose to wear false eyelashes in more interesting ways. There are colored eyelashes, eyelashes with gems and stones in them and fake eyelashes in varying lengths and texture. It is very easy to wear false eyelashes now these days and with so many options to choose from, it is very easy to play around with them and see what suits you and your mood best.

Now you can also play around with your eye color. Keep people guessing about your true eye color and even surprise them with a few interesting colored contacts. Colored contact lenses that are safe for everyday use are popular these days. Just make sure that you take proper good care of them so you prevent any eye infections as well as make sure that these contact lenses last you a long time. If you are looking for something new in your look, wearing contact lenses might just be your answer.

So go ahead, view the world in a different way now.

Eyeshadow Tip

Laser Cosmetic Eye Surgery : The Marvels of Light

Laser Cosmetic Eye Surgery : The Marvels of Light

Lasik eye surgery can provide good vision

One of the first things which we notice about a person's face is the eyes. We even say that we see a person's soul through them. Therefore, their health and functioning should always be maintained as sight is also one of our most important senses. Having problems with vision is a burden for many people.

Although the eyes and vision can easily be aided through eyeglasses or contact lenses, it still is far from having normal vision. Today however, laser cosmetic eye surgery is giving these individuals new hope and look forward to days where they never have to worry about broken glasses or torn contact lenses.

The most common form of laser cosmetic eye surgery today is LASIK. It stands for laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis.

It is a simple procedure which involves the use of laser beams to remove the cornea and remodel the tissue underneath it. This improves the manner at which light is refracted which is the common cause of astigmatism, near sightedness and far-sightedness.
The procedure can be accomplished at the clinic and does not require confinement afterwards. This laser cosmetic eye surgery can be over in 20 minutes and the patient can go home. Recovery period is also shorter and can last for only 3-4 days.
Compared to cosmetic laser eye surgery methods that came before it, LASIK causes only minor discomforts. For these, the doctor can give eye drops for relief.

Since it is commonly used nowadays, lasik cosmetic eye surgery has undergone a lot of improvements in the past years. A more improved form, which is also fast gaining popularity is Epi-LASIK or Epithelial Laser In-Situ Keratomileusis. It combines the benefits of previously used laser cosmetic eye surgery techniques and offers a much shorter recovery period. The procedure is basically the same but it does not make use of any alcohol solution to remove the cornea.

LASIK is one laser cosmetic eye surgery that has also proven itself effective for a number of eye conditions aside from the common astigmatism, near sightedness and far sightedness today.
It has also helped diabetics with retinopathy restore their eyesight. Older people with age related macular degeneration have been helped through this procedure. This involves using laser beams to break the cataract into small pieces. They are then removed by suction. After recovery, the cataracts are sure not to return so it becomes a permanent solution to this common eye disorder.

There are a lot of things to consider and to be discussed with your doctor before you undergo laser cosmetic eye surgery such as LASIK, as every medical procedure comes with its own set of benefits and potential risks.

After the procedure, a common discomfort is increased light sensitivity and blurred vision along with some minor pains. These are normal and the doctor can simply give oral medication or eye drops to relieve them. They should clear up in a matter of days after which one can go back to his normal routine.

Before your doctor recommends any form of laser cosmetic eye surgery for you, he will conduct a thorough examination of your eyes first. From there, he will determine which form or procedure is best for your case. It is not you who will dictate which laser cosmetic eye surgery you would go through.

Your age also determines whether you are a potential candidate for laser cosmetic eye surgery. It is not an option for individuals younger than 20 and older than 50. Younger people have eyes that are still developing while older people may have more serious eye problems that are beyond the help of laser surgery.
Carefully understand and discuss everything with your doctor - laser cosmetic eye surgery may just be the procedure that will give you a lasting healthy, normal vision.

Laser Cosmetic Eye Surgery for the Windows to Your Soul

Laser Cosmetic Eye Surgery for
the Windows to Your Soul

Lasik eye surgery can provide good vision

Certain factors such as stress, exposure to sunlight, cigarette smoke and pollution and age can all affect the way our eyes and the area around it look. Heavy eye bags, wrinkles and loose or droopy skin around the eyes can be unsightly and may make you look older than your real age. For these, the application of creams around the area may not simply work. Blurred vision due to conditions like astigmatism, near sightedness and far sightedness can be a burden to a lot of people too. Wearing eyeglasses or being highly dependent on contact lenses can be cumbersome. If you are serious about changing these problems, you might want to try laser cosmetic eye surgery.

A common problem is drooping eyelids. An option for this is blepharoplasty or eyelift. This is one of the most common cosmetic procedures done on the face. It can be done on the upper or lower eyelid, depending on where the patient needs it. Most commonly addressed problems involving the upper eyelids are droopiness and puffiness.

For the lower eyelids, the common problem is the presence of fat deposits. These make the eye look tired and in some cases, people even find it difficult to apply make up on these problem areas. They can also have an effect on vision since drooping eyelids can block the eyes. It can also lead to further development of wrinkles around the eyes.

These procedures however, do not correct crow's feet or wrinkles around the eyes. These may require separate surgical procedures.

Laser eye surgery is also not just performed for aesthetic or cosmetic reasons. They also work in correcting eye problems involving vision.

Common vision problems arise from distortions on the surface of the cornea affecting the way light is refracted. To correct this, laser eye surgery is formed, usually in the form of LASIK, which stands for laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis. Another procedure is photorefractive keratectomy or PRK. These procedures involve lifting the cornea and using laser beams to re-shape the tissue underneath it. These procedures are quick and patients have reported only minor stinging during the procedure. After this, the patient will have to wear soft and thin contact lenses for protection.

The recovery period is also shorter and the person can go back to his normal activities in a matter of days.

Laser cosmetic eye surgery is considerably low risk and can be done in a very short time, sometimes even at the doctor's office only. However, the eyes are such sensitive parts of the body so better ask the doctor for possible side effects and after effects once the procedure is done.

Some common complaints after laser cosmetic eye surgery procedures are increased sensitivity to light and some pain. These normally clear up in a matter of days and should they persist for more than 4 days, the doctor must be consulted.

Medication is often given to counter potential infections. These medications can be taken orally or in the form of eye drops. Scarring is also a potential problem and should be addressed immediately since it can also lead to loss of vision.

People of ages 20 to 50 are good candidates for laser cosmetic eye surgery. Younger people have eyes that are still undergoing development and people older than 50 may have developed more serious eye diseases.

Do not hesitate to ask your physician how many times he has performed the same procedure, and ask everything from benefits to potential risks. Remember that what is at stake here is not just how good your eyes look but also how well they will function later on. Laser cosmetic eye surgery has a lot to offer and to better understand it means healthier and more beautiful eyes.
