How to Buy Eyebrow Tweezers

Although there are plenty of methods to eyebrow hair removal, some are better than others. While waxing and threading can do a great job of producing a clean look, they are better left up to the professionals.

For those that would rather take eyebrow grooming into their own hands, your best bet is to tweeze. Tweezing is the classic method of removing eyebrow hair yourself. It can also be called eyebrow plucking.

What you need to pluck your eyebrows:

1. Good lighting, preferably natural sunlight.

2. A nice magnifying mirror.

3. An eyebrow brush or comb.

4. Great tweezers.

Even if you have the first three items on the list, everything hinges on the tweezers. If your pair doesn't work well, then you won't have a good experience. When you're ready to buy some new tweezers, it's important to keep a few things in mind.

In most cases, you can get away with buying something at a cheaper price. There won't be too much degradation in quality. That's not the case with eyebrow tweezers, though. Inexpensive tweezers are usually not good enough and not worth the discount.

Instead, try for tweezers between $10 and $20. Eyebrow tweezers in this price range tend to be of high quality while still saving you money. Anything less than this won't do a good enough job in eyebrow hair removal.

Try tweezers with a comfort grip.

Tweezing those tiny eyebrow hairs can put a lot of strain on your hands. You can combat that by purchasing tweezers that have a comfort grip. You'll avoid any strain or pain. You'll likely have more control over the eyebrow hairs you remove as well.

Luckily, tweezers with comfort grips don't tend to be much more expensive than the classic variety. This should put them right in your budget.

Go for the slanted tweezers.

There are many different kinds of tweezers for you to choose from. They go to sharp points, o have completely flat, horizontal tips. Although these varieties have their place, slanted tweezers are the best for standard eyebrow grooming.

As you become more advanced in eyebrow hair removal, you may want to try these other tweezer varieties. Super pointed tweezers are perfect for getting at ingrown hairs. They're also great for when you want super fine control over which hairs you pull. Flat-headed tweezers do a good job of pulling multiple hairs at once. Granted, you will lose some control with this variety.

Use all of these tips to get the best tweezers.

If you put in the extra bit of effort, you'll end up with great tweezers. Now that you have everything you need, you should be able to groom your eyebrows into the exact shape you're looking for.

After all, you can't get the perfect eyebrow shape if your tweezers can't even pull out the right hairs.
